Every individual has different personality which make them unique. However, every personality has particular tendencies and characteristics which make us sometimes easier to notice them. For example, the introverts tend to be a listening type in conversation. Meanwhile, the extroverts are the chatter box. As for travelling, many believe that individual personality influence the way they enjoy the travel, or the way they choose destination. Is is true? If that’s so, which one makes easier time travelling? The introverts or extroverts?

Travel for introverts and extroverts

Being introverts doesn’t mean you only enjoy staying at home. There are also experienced travelers with introvert personality and they don’t have any problem travelling from place to place. There are also extroverts who enjoy their closed social circles and hanging out with them without constant urge to travel to somewhere far to meet new people.

Difference on how to enjoy things

There are some differences in the way the introverts and extroverts enjoy the travel. However, it is wrong to stereotype them. Do not question somebody’s travel preference just because it seems clash to their personality.  For example, you meet other travelers during travel and they seem to be a little bit uneasy making conversation with you. When they admit that they are rather introvert person, do not question why they are travelling with introvert personality. 

It could be exhausting for both parties

Meanwhile, it looks exhausting to be extrovert and love travelling at the same time. There are opinions saying that it will be draining to do all the talk while travel frequently. Well, the extroverts might enjoy those you think is exhausting. For the introverts, they may feel recharged by having their ‘me time’ for few hours when they are in group travel. As for the extroverts, they may find it healing to talk more with fellow travelers.

Different preferences 

There are also opinions saying that the introverts only like secluded places with less crowd. They tend to avoid touristy places which mainstream for most people. Meanwhile, the extroverts tend to visit mainstream places and like it even more when they are surrounded by the crowds who also enjoy the place. Is it true? Well, it may not be entirely true because choosing the type pf travel destination can also be based off individual needs and current preference.

Difference on tendencies 

Another opinion is regarding to the tendency of people with different personality to enjoy their travel. People say that being extrovert means you have easier time to travel because won’t have difficulty meeting and talking with new people in completely new place. You most unlikely to feel lonely either because you always find a way to make friends quickly. Meanwhile, being introvert means the otherwise. They tend to find it hard to ask for help from others and make conversation with stranger. It is even harder for them to adapt new environment. However, it is not always true. Introverts and extroverts may have different tendencies in enjoying trip. However, every individual may also have their own to make their travel more enjoyable and meaningful for themselves.
