You will be driving with experienced tour guide and it’s for your own safety. Driving yourself through wildlife may lead you to get out of the car just to take some pictures and it can be dangerous. Hence, it’s better to be driving with professionals so you can also enjoy more your surroundings without needing to stay behind the wheel all the time.

Stay inside the vehicle

It’s understandable to feel curious about the wildlife you see. It feels so overwhelming and interesting that you feel like you can safely interact with them. However, it’s advisable to stay inside the vehicle for safety reason. Close your window and wait until the guide tells you it’s okay to open it. Avoid standing up in the vehicle or waving your arms outside the vehicle. Never leave your vehicle while on the game drive unless the instruction allows you.

Consider walking safari

It’s possible to do a walking safari but with a guide of ranger or tracker. To fully enjoy your walking safari trip, staying low-key is advisable. Don’t make sudden movements or loud noises if you happen to get a close encounter with the wildlife. You can walk into the bush only with the permission of the ranger. You don’t know what will be waiting for you in the bush it can be lions, hyenas, or other dangerous animals.

Stay respectful

Always adhere to the rules and regulations to protect yourself and the animals. Stay respectful not only to the staffs but also to the animals. Never have an intention to hurt them and avoid doing something that can potentially harm them in any way. Don’t try to get their attention and let them be. Observe your surroundings and use your camera less often to enjoy the moments fully.
